So, what happens at a Portrait session with Carol Bailey Photography?

Before you arrive we will have discussed what you want from your photographs - whether it is a family photo for the wall, headshots for your social media or dating profile or is it for your website showcasing your staff, workplace and products.  Or you may be booking an engagement photograph prior to deciding on who to choose for your wedding photography.

We talk about what to wear, colours and clothes to compliment you and the type of photographs you are having.  We also talk about accessories - from hats and sunglasses, to musical instruments and sports gear.

On arrival, we have a quick drink and a chat about what styles you like, and look at some examples. 

Then you get some tips and hints on posing and finding your best side and off we go.  We look at the pictures as we go along, chatting about what you like and work together to create a range of portraits that you'll love. 

Different outfits & hairstyles combined with creative lighting and backdrops will give you a fun experience that you will really enjoy.  The final few pictures of a session is when "Bowie comes to town"  or Marilyn where we go for a movie star Hollywood style image, bringing out the supermodel that was hiding inside of you! 

Customers often say they are just getting into the whole modelling experience when the session comes to an end; many come back for more!
